On Sunday, April 19, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Mayerson JCC will be hosting the latest installment of “PJ Library Mom’s Cookbook Club.” At the club’s next meetup, participants will be cooking recipes from Adeena Sussman’s “Shabbat: Recipes and Rituals from My Table to Yours.”
For this “April Meetup” event, participants will choose a recipe from Sussman’s book and bring it to the event to share with the rest of the moms. The moms who attend should expect a table full of dairy/parve kosher dishes. There will be a great mix of flavors and friends, old and new.
The location of the event will be revealed upon RSVP. You don’t need to own Sussman’s cookbook to join the group, and Becca Noy (the PJ Library Parent Connector) will reach out to you and send you any/dairy parve recipes you choose from the book’s table of contents.
