Holiday shoppers looking for unique gifts and one-of-a-kind creations will have an opportunity to browse the work of local artists at the 6th annual Chanukah Bazaar on Sunday, Nov. 15.
Hosted by Adath Israel’s Sisterhood, the event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Adath Israel Congregation, 3201 E. Galbraith Road, Cincinnati.
The event is free and open to the public. Visitors should enter through the main entrance beneath the portico in the rear parking lot.
With a wide variety of handcrafted goods, the bazaar offers shoppers an opportunity to support local artists and small businesses while getting a head start on holiday shopping.
Participating artists will showcase an eclectic mix of merchandise, including handmade jewelry, pottery, paintings, photography, textiles, clothing, woodwork, candles, glass art, accessories and home décor. A number of booths showcase Judaica artists.
Attendees can also visit the Coleman Family Judaica Shop booth for additional holiday shopping, with a discount off select items and Chanukah wrapping paper. All proceeds from raffle sales go to support local charities such as the Kosher Food Pantry and the Free Store Food Bank.
The bazaar will also feature a raffle for artwork. Tickets are available for $5 for two or $10 for five. Winners do not need to be present to claim their prizes.
Food and refreshments will also be available.
“Chanukah is coming, so beat the crowds at the mall and avoid online shipping fees and delays,” said Heidi Weisman, event organizer. “Come shop local for truly creative items and meet the artists who created them.”
