On Sunday, March 15, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Congregation Etz Chaim will be hosting members of Cincinnati’s Persian Jewish community to share their stories. At “MENA Voices: Jewish Voices from Iran,” those who speak will discuss what life was like for them in Iran before and after the 1979 Revolution. They will also openly discuss their personal journeys of rebuilding their lives in both America and Israel.

This special event will explore, through personal reflection and an open dialogue, subjects and themes like memory, identity, displacement and resilience. “MENA Voices” will also serve as a gathering of solidarity with the Iranian people in their ongoing fight for freedom. Should you want to attend this event, you’re invited to listen, learn and stand together with the event’s speakers.

At 11:00 a.m., there will be a private meet and mingle with a lunch for donors. At 12:30 p.m., the free portion of “MENA Voices” will begin. This part of the event with will open with Tzach Shmuely, and the panel discussion with the Cincinnati Persian Community will begin at 1:00 p.m.
