On Thursday, November 6, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., come and have a light lunch at the Cincinnati Skirball Museum while also learning about the collars of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the famous jurist who served on the Supreme Court of the United States from 1993 to 2020. The special guest and curator of the event will be Abby Schwartz, and she will be providing an illustrated talk that compliments the Skirball Museum’s wonderful exhibition, “The Collars of RBG: Photographs by Elinor Carucci,” which will available for the public to see through February 9th.
In addition to an illustrated talk, Scwhartz will be offering a walk-through of the RBG exhibition and also discuss the retrospective exhibition on the works of Mark Podwal. Podwal was a prolific artist, who is perhaps best known for his drawings in “The New York Times” op-ed page. His work currently surrounds guests who come to Mayerson Auditorium.
For anyone interested RBG, Podwal and art, this event promises to be a fun outing!
