On Thursday, October 16, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., the Mayerson JCC and the Jewish Federation will be co-hosting a special event that celebrates the intersection of the Jewish festival of Sukkot and the Asian Mid-Autumn (Moon Festival) traditions.

Come to the event to partake in a number of fun and exciting activities, like enjoying dishes inspired by both Jewish and Asian kitchens and creating keepsakes through rocking painting and paper lanterns. Attendees will also have the chance to play some traditional Korean games and to read stories that speak to what it means to belong in the Asian Jewish community.

The primary goal of the event is to remind participants how traditions across cultures can parallel one another and bring us all together. People of all ages are welcome to attend!
