The Mayerson JCC continues its summer programming for young folks with a Summer Fun Finale, Sunday, August 11 from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. The event will celebrate the end of summer for local children (no grown-ups allowed!). There will be games, sports, crafts and snacks for participants to enjoy. A fee is required and can be paid when attendees RSVP on the Mayerson JCC website.

Just a few weeks after the Summer Fun Finale, kids age 12 and under can attend the Back to School Ice Cream Social at the J, hosted in partnership with Rockwern Academy. PJ Library and Rockwern invite kids to get ready for school with Graeters ice cream and old and new friends. RSVP is required. Information can be found on the JCC website.

For those who are past their “back to school” days, the J 60 & Better group is also offering the L’Chaim Soirée. Local jazz band Queen City Vintage Vibe will play classics from Jewish composers along side tasty hors d’oeuvres, non alcoholic drinks, as well as kosher beer, wine, and a signature J cocktail.
