The court hearing for the State of Ohio vs. Hebrew Union College Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC), originally scheduled to take place Friday, July 12 at 11:00 a.m., was cancelled as both parties tentatively reached an agreement. The case was originally brought against HUC’s Klau Library by Attorney General Yost in June to prevent HUC from selling off their world-renowned collection of rare books and other antiquities. The American Israelite will update readers with more information once the agreement is filed with the court and signed off on by the judge.
