On Thursday, January 15, and every third Thursday of each month, Mayerson JCC will be hosting, “Time to Heal and A New Beginning,” an inclusive, welcoming program that allows participants coping with a recent loss to find healing in a space filled with warmth, community and conversation.
If you are coping with a recent loss and looking for a way to move forward with intention, positivity and healing, this ongoing event welcomes you.
“Time to Heal and A New Beginning” is for anyone navigating any stage of grief, and this program encourages connecting with other people in similar situations. Participants of this program will find that it offers a safe and supportive environment, where everyone has the chance to share their feelings, explore their needs and discover how to focus on their own well-being.
Everyone experiences grief differently, and the way a person you loved died may also influence how you grieve. Moving forward from a loss doesn’t mean forgetting the past, rather it means learning how to live more fully in the here and now.
The upcoming “Time to Heal and A New Beginning,” like each other program, will last from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
