The past, present, and future of the Abraham Accords

Intended to promote peace in the Middle East, the Abraham Accords are particularly relevant given the October 7th attacks.

The Cincinnati Coalition for Israel is hosting Joy Malka Rothenberg, Esq., an international lawyer in the United States and in Israel, to discuss the history and afterlife of The Abraham Accords.

Rothenberg is a professional mediator, an advocate for international human rights, a Holocaust reparation expert and a proponent of the Accords.

Her work has contributed to fostering respect and tolerance between Israel and the newly established peace partners, especially relating to business. More specifically, Rothenberg’s work has strengthened ties between Israel, Bahrain and the United States. She was also instrumental in collaboration efforts that led to the treaty between Israel and Sudan.

Additionally, she was a signatory of the Jordan River Water Covenant, a collaborative initiative between Jews, Christians and Muslims.

Join Joy Rothenberg as she educates participants on The Abraham Accords, international diplomacy and Middle Eastern geopolitics, all in the pursuit of Tikun Olam.

The discussion will take place on Wednesday, August 6 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the JCC.
