Self-Defense Discussion

The Amberley Village Police Department prides itself on its collaborative efforts with local residents and organizations.

And given today’s contentious climate, police recommend being vigilant no matter where you are or what you are doing. On June 23, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Amberley police will host a Self-Defense Discussion at the Mayerson JCC. Intended for people 13 and older, the meeting will teach participants how to keep themselves safe in many different ways.

This Self-Defense Discussion event is the latest of the Department’s efforts to serve the community. Back in March, they teamed up with the Jewish Home of Cincinnati for their Senior Safety Program which aims to help residents remain in their homes as they age. Coming up on June 22, the Department will host a Bike Safety Fair at the Mayerson Jewish Community Center.
