Rockwern Alive!

On Saturday, February 28, from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Rockwern Academy will be hosting its largest annual fundraiser, “Rockwern Alive!,” at the American Sign Museum in Cincinnati. At this event, guests will have the opportunity to support Rockwern Academy and examine local and national history by way of the many wonderful signs on display at the museum. There will also be some signs from Jewish businesses to see. One such sign on display at the museum is from Brooklyn’s Crown Deli.

At this year’s fundraiser, Junior and James Coomer, Rockwern Academy’s longtime building caretakers, and Rebecca Garfinkle, will be honored for their hard work and dedication. By honoring these three individuals, Rockwern hopes to celebrate its team as whole, as many members of its staff have been with the school for over a decade.

There will be light bites, desserts and drinks at “Rockwern Alive!,” and a silent auction and raffle will be held. Should you want to attend this event, there is a fee for admission.
