On Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Seasons Retirement Community, the Association for Aging Professionals held its annual awards and scholarship event, celebrating excellence in the field of aging. Rachel Hodesh, President of Senior LifeCare Consultants, was recognized as the 2024 Outstanding Leader in the Field of Aging.
In her acceptance speech, Rachel credited her success to several key influences: her time at Cedar Village, the clients and families she serves, the support of her own family, and the colleagues she has gained over the past eight years. She expressed her deep passion for her work and emphasized the vital role Life Care Managers play in supporting individuals and families.
Tracey Collins, President of the APA, praised Rachel as a trusted colleague who is always willing to offer guidance and support. Both Rachel and Tracey also extended their gratitude to Ann Burke of JFS for her ongoing encouragement throughout their careers.
Rachel concluded by encouraging others to advocate for their loved ones and expressed appreciation for everyone working to improve the lives of seniors. The event was a true celebration of the professionals and programs dedicated to enhancing the aging experience.
