It is acceptable to disagree but unacceptable to disparage others based on one’s views when disagreeing with another point of view. Whether you agree or disagree in a letter to the editor, it must be kept respectful. I apologize for any confusion and hurt that may have been caused by our running of a letter to the editor that was run last week. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.
I also retract in full the story that was about the protest held in Pleasant Ridge last Sunday.
I apologize for causing any confusion on the part of our readers in regard to these stories.
