No one likes discussing death, but as we and our loved ones age, end-of-life care plans become increasingly important. The Conversation Project hopes to make these conversations easier.
The Conversation Project helps people learn to communicate needs and wants tactfully and responsibly first with themselves then with loved ones and medical teams. This course removes the taboo, encourages conversation among loved ones about health plans and explores Jewish perspectives on death.
The course will also guide registrants through how to develop a living will with the help of a legal expert.
The eight-week course is free and runs every Tuesday from March 11 to May 6 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m at Northern Hills Synagogue. Visit the Northern Hills Synagogue website to register.
