The Mayerson JCC Jewish & Israeli Film Festival is offering a diverse, inspiring lineup of award-winning films and engaging, educational programming that connects to Jewish and Israeli stories. The 2024 festival has a hybrid lineup with each film offered either in-person only or virtual only to allow for viewing in the community or from the comfort of your own home.
The festival is featuring nine in-person and four virtual films, as well as several short films, from now until February 29 of this year. Most films offer an optional supplementary programming, which includes conversations with film directors as well as local experts on issues covered in the films.
Opening night featured the film “Matchmaking,” a sweet forbidden romance that is a joyous tale about tolerance and love.
The film festival opened Saturday, February 3 at Memorial Hal.
The Mayerson JCC Jewish & Israeli Film Festival has received critical acclaim, enabling people from all over Cincinnati to experience thought-provoking Jewish and Israeli films from around the world.
