Mayerson JCC and PJ Library invite children 12 and under to honor MLK day in a day of service, Monday, January 20, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Matthew 25 Ministries in Blue Ash. President Bill Clinton signed a legislation turning Martin Luther King Jr. Day into a National Day of Service in 1994. Since then, Americans have been encouraged to volunteer their time and talents in honor of King.
The JCC and PJ Library will collaborate with Matthew 25 Ministries, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support to the unhoused as well as disaster victims. The event is also hosted in partnership with Rockwern Academy. Those interested in participating can find more information as well as a registration form on the Mayerson JCC website.
