On May 13, Temple Sholom will host “On Broadway: Jewish Influence on American Musical Theatre,” an exciting exploration of the Jewish influence on modern American theater.
Led by Jack Johnson, Temple Sholom’s musical director, attendees will learn about the many Jewish playwrights, performers and directors who have left their stamp on Broadway. Famous works covered include “Les Misérables,” “Rent” and “Parade.”
Attendees will bring their own lunch to eat at 11:30 a.m., and learning will begin at 11:45 a.m. Desserts will be provided.
