On Thursday, May 30, the Mayerson JCC will host its largest annual fundraising event, The J Classic. Every summer, hundreds of people gather at Losantiville Country Club for a full day of activities that include the featured Adams Golf Tournament, followed by the popular Course of Caterers Dinner, which has been described as “a miniature Taste of Cincinnati,” and the Young Adult Par-Tee, a special event geared for the 20s and 30s crowd. Tickets for the Par-Tee include the Course of Caterers Dinner event, as well as an open bar and music provided by DJ Toad. There will also be games of tennis, pickleball, canasta, and mahjong.

Registration for Morning golf, Women’s Tennis, and Men’s Pickleball begin at 7:15 a.m. The driving range also opens at that time, and breakfast will be available. At 8:00 a.m., Morning golf begins with instructions and a shotgun start, and at 9:00 a.m., the Women’s Tennis Tournament and Men’s Pickleball Tournament begins.

J Classic Raffle tickets can be purchased in singles or multiples of either six tickets for $50 or 15 tickets for $100. All proceeds from the 2024 J Classic fundraiser will benefit the important services and programs of the Mayerson JCC, which in the past have included Meals on Wheels, the JCC Senior Center, the JCC Early Childhood School, Camp at the J and financial aid for those in need. Another way to help support the JCC is to become a sponsor. There are a number of options to choose from.
