Irene Isaac Block of Cincinnati passed away at the age of 100 on October 10, 2023. The native Cincinnati centenarian was energized by the love for her family and she believed her long life and good health were a result of her sense of humor, healthy eating, and commitment to her daily vitamins. Wanting to leave the world better than she found it, she realized life was all about how you played the cards you were dealt and was committed to doing so honestly and elegantly.
Beloved wife of Robert Block, Sr., daughter of Stanley Isaac and Frances Bamberger Isaac, step daughter to Lucille Isaac, and mother of the late Lee Martin Block and step mother to Robert and Justina Block, Lynda Block, and the late Dina Block Rosenheim. Grandmother to Mimi Rosenheim, Larry Young, Jory Block, Jessica Block, Victor Block, and Korrina Block and Gigi to great grandchildren Walker Young and Jaden Block. Aunt to Tom and Jody Block, Rick and Ellie Block, Barb and OJ Cohen and survived by many great and great-great nieces and nephews, and her beloved cockapoo, Milo. A memorial service was held on Monday, October 16th at 2:00 PM in the Cedars of Lebanon Chapel at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45232. A gathering was held directly following services at The Regency, 2444 Madison Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45208.
