On Tuesday, March 17, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Mayerson JCC will be hosting a friendly and informative workshop catering towards older adults who want to better understand how their hearing works. “Hearing Health 101” invites those who’ve noticed some changes in their hearing or those who just want to stay informed on this important subject.

This event will cover the basics of hearing health in a relaxed and approachable learning format. Facilitating this event will be Helisa Katz, a licensed Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) and a certified American Sign Language Interpreter. Katz has three decades of experience in her field and her style of teaching emphasizes accessibility, cultural respect and fun.
