The Valley Temple of Cincinnati, 145 Springfield Pike in Wyoming, is busy making the necessary preparations to host Friday Night Shabbat families on Friday April 28. A family fun evening, open to the entire community and featuring a full catered traditional Shabbat dinner is planned. The evening will also include children centered activities, Shabbat greetings and blessings, and a family themed service.
As with all Friday Night Shabbat dinners, the entire evening is completely free of charge. Young families are given a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a relaxed Shabbat dinner with other young families in the Cincinnati community. Previous dinners have been well attended and past respondents have enjoyed meeting each other. RSVPs at the Friday Night Shabbat website are appreciated but everyone will be welcome, even without prior registration.
Rabbi Zoot, assistant Rabbi at Valley Temple has promised an exciting evening. He would like the readers of this article and the entire community to know that The Valley Temple is a warm and positive space for young Jewish families. In his words, “It is a gift and a blessing to be able to host a Friday Night Shabbat dinner for our community. We hope as many families attend as possible.”
