Submitted by Mayerson JCC
The Mayerson JCC is excited to welcome Madison Trick as the new Program Director. Maddi joins the J with extensive experience in program leadership, Israel education, cross-cultural engagement and antisemitism response. She holds a B.A. in Political Science with a specialization in International Relations from The Ohio State University and an M.A. in Education and Human Development with a concentration in Israel Education from The George Washington University.
Maddi first became involved in this work as a student leader at OSU Hillel, where she participated in The David Project’s Israel Uncovered trip before serving as an outreach intern and leader in Buckeyes for Israel. She later joined The David Project as Midwest Campus Coordinator and Senior Campus Coordinator, where she trained and mentored students in building cross-community relationships while coordinating national summits, workshops and Israel trips.
She went on to serve as Director of Israel Education and Programming at Michigan State University Hillel, overseeing Israel engagement across 11 campuses, designing multi-semester educational curricula, facilitating immersive international programs and supporting hundreds of students through rising antisemitism on campus. Most recently, Maddi served as a Senior Manager in Hillel International’s Israel Action and Addressing Antisemitism Program, where she supported more than 75 Hillels nationwide by developing proactive educational tools, consulting on crisis response, guiding campuses through anti-Israel activity, antisemitic incidents, BDS campaigns and helping them strengthen relationships across campus, celebrate Israel and educate with confidence.
At the Mayerson JCC, Maddi will oversee the program team, including Arts & Ideas, Camp at the J, PJ Library, J Prime, 20s & 30s and Sports & Rec. She is eager to build on the JCC’s strong tradition of meaningful engagement.
“I’ve spent my career helping people find their place in the Jewish community, and I couldn’t be more excited to continue that work here at the Mayerson JCC,” Maddi said. “Working in this field for the past decade, I understand the impact that providing a space for intentional gathering and meaningful connection can have. I’m looking forward to meeting and learning from the community ways the J can continue to build that for Cincinnati.”
Whitney Fisch, Chief Program Officer, said: “Maddi brings a deep commitment to building connections and community. Her experience working across teams and engaging diverse populations will be a tremendous asset as we continue to strengthen the J as a place where people show up, build relationships and feel a true sense of belonging. I’m excited for the way she’ll help us deepen engagement and create meaningful entry points into community life.”
