On Wednesday, April 22, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Mayerson JCC, in partnership with the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati, invites the community to come together to celebrate Israel’s Independence Day with their family and friends at the JCC.
At JCC’s celebration of Yom HaAtzmaut, there will be a carnival of games and activities, food to purchase and Israeli music and dancing. Kosher food will be provided for the occasion.
Yom HaAtzmaut commemorates the Israeli Declaration of Independence on May 14,1948. Israel’s national holiday is celebrated on the 5th of Iyar on the Hebrew calendar each year.
