On Sunday, April 12, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Mayerson JCC, in partnership with Adath Israel Congregation, will be hosting a baking class at Adath Israel. At “Bake a Blessing: Mezuzah Cookies for Families,” families and kids 12 and under will have the opportunity to decorate mezuzah-shaped sugar cookies.
In addition to this fun activity, participants, young and old, will be able to create simple crafts and be taught about the mezuzah and how it’a a special symbol found on many Jewish doorways.
