On Saturday, February 21, from 5:50 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Mayerson JCC will be hosting a special moms’ night out at the Commonwealth Comedy Club in Dayton, Kentucky. At “Pies & Punchlines: Moms’ Night Out,” the JCC moms who attend this event will be treated to a dinner and a show.
The night will start out at the Wayfarer Tavern, which is also in Dayton, Kentucky. After dinner at the restaurant, attendees will head over to the Commonwealth Comedy Club for a show featuring stand-up comic, Matthew Broussard.
Broussard is a funny Jewish comedian, who has appeared on primetime shows like the “Tonight Show” and “Conan.” He’s known for his wit and self-effacing humor in his comedy.
Should you want to attend “Pies & Punchlines: Moms’ Night Out,” a ticket for the comedy show is purchased when you register for it online. The dinner at Wayfarer Tavern is self-pay, and after dinner, everyone who attends this event will walk with the moms’ night group over to the comedy club to be seated together.
The dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m., and you need to show up at the Wayfarer Tavern by 7:10 p.m. to be able to walk over to the comedy club with the group.
