Andy and Rachel Sollofe of Cincinnati and Shmuel and Sarah Rivkah Kohn of Borough Park, Brooklyn, New York are pleased to announce the engagement of their children. They invited the community to Mordy and Shoshana’s vort on Sunday, June 29, 1:30–3 p.m., at the Sollofe residence.

Connie Springer and Steve Kosztala of Cincinnati are excited to announce the birth of their first grandchild, granddaughter, Isabella Rose Kosztala, born Jan. 22, 2025. Isabella’s parents are Jackson Kosztala (formerly of Cincinnati) and Kathryn Bolen Kosztala, presently all living in Columbus, GA. 

Darren Goodman

Darren Goodman, son of Louise and David Goodman, welcomed friends and family from across the country to his exhibition at the Middletown Arts Center of the fusion of art and history in March. He also hosted an artist talk and story walk on April 3, an immersive gallery tour where he shared the stories behind his art, accompanied by live musical performances and a sensory day on Saturday, April, 26, a sensory-friendly experience featuring accessibility resources and hands-on art activities for all ages and abilities.

At a community block party on Saturday, May 10, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. they celebrated creativity with interactive activities, live glassblowing demonstrations and a tough-truck event in partnership with the City of Middletown. 

David Smyjunas 

Susan and Gary Glynn of Cincinnati are pleased to announce the birth of their grandson, David Smyjunas born on June 6, 2025. David’s parents are Lauren and Robert Smyjunas. Paternal grandparents are Bitsy and Rob Smyjunas also of Cincinnati.

Rabbi Shai and Tova Scherer and family of Cincinnati announce the marriage of Levi and Sarah Prawer Scherer on Tuesday June 10, 2025.

Dana Belle Coleman marries Eli Griffin Gould

Fran and Craig Coleman of Cincinnati are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Dana Belle Coleman, to Eli Griffin Gould, son of Pam Gould and Ken Gould, both of Louisville, Kentucky. Dana is the granddaughter of Andrea and the late Michael Dubroff and the late Adell and Malcolm Coleman. Eli is the grandson of Jan and the late Dave Doctrow of Lexington, Kentucky and Sharon and Ed Gould of Louisville, Kentucky. 

The couple was married on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at The Renaissance Hotel in Cincinnati in a ceremony conducted by Rabbi Moshe Smolkin and Rabbi Scott Shafrin.

Dana graduated from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School with a degree in Marketing and Real Estate. She is a Manager, Sales Planning & Analytics with Keurig Dr Pepper in Cincinnati. Eli graduated from Miami University with a degree in Computer Science. He is a Software Engineer with IEL Logistics in Cincinnati. 

Following a honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple resides in Amberley.
