Dear Editor

Although at first I had difficulty  believing it, I eventually jumped with joy upon learning in “The Forward” that Jonathan Greenblatt, President and CEO of the Anti Defamation League (ADL), has finally realized the surge in antisemitism is by the left. It is a significant development in the  fight against antisemitism. During the last 10 years, I communicated many times with him, his staffers, his board president, the secular and Jewish media and local and national CEOs of Jewish organizations including many rabbis that they see the danger from the far right, as they should, yet are blind to the danger from the far left. I didn’t get to first base with any of them.

Jonathan Greenblatt compared campus protestors to ISIS and al  Qaeda. He recently said the left harbors “the real deal threat” to Jews. The ADL is producing dossiers on left wing groups who are antisemitic.

No doubt what changed Greenblatt’s attitude are the violent antisemitic protests on university campuses, the arson of Gov. Shapiro’s residence, the killing of two Israeli Embassy employees at the Jewish Museum in DC and the fire bombing attack that injured eight individuals at a free Israeli hostages march in Boulder, CO.

He probably is also aware of what I, through research since Oct. 7, 2023, have become aware of, Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran and ISIS have links with far left US organizations and individuals. If I know 13 organizations with links, there must be 13 or more I don’t know about And nobody knows how many individuals have links with overseas terrorist groups.
