Assistant Editor

The American Israelite is pleased to announced Sherrie Niedermeier as its new Dining Out editor.

A resident of Loveland, Sherrie F. Niedermeier is a passionate food enthusiast and seasoned writer with a sharp eye for detail and a deep appreciation for the cultural and communal power of food. Drawing on a rich career in writing, learning design and consulting, she brings a nuanced perspective to her restaurant reviews—blending sensory insight with storytelling that highlights both flavor and context. Whether uncovering local gems or analyzing trends in food culture, Sherrie’s work reflects her belief that dining is as much about connection and identity as it is about taste.

As for her background, Sherrie has a Master’s in Curriculum and Supervision from Wright State University and a Bachelor’s in English from Case Western Reserve University. She is the former Chief Learning Design Officer for Human Capital Institute, where she trained HR professionals. Before that, she worked in Talent Management and Development at Fifth Third Bank, as a design consultant with the Richardson Company and was managing partner of ARMC, a global HR firm. She has worked with Microsoft, Google, Bank of America, and Wells Fargo.

Sherrie’s column will begin in a few weeks.
