“Fiddler on the Roof,” one of the world’s most successful musicals, has earned its very own celebration. On Thursday April 10 from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Northern Hills Synagogue will host a two-part exploration of this beloved musical at the Mayerson JCC.

Alisa Solomon, a “Fiddler” scholar, and Ben Whiteley, a Broadway scholar, will walk attendees through the origins, creation and lasting success of “Fiddler on the Roof.”

Solomon and Whiteley will share behind-the-scenes stories, provide rare video footage of live performances and play selections from “Fiddler’s” most celebrated songs. Whiteley will also give attendees a unique glimpse of the songs written for the play that never made it into the Broadway opening.
