JVS Careers offer webinars for job seekers

JVS Careers is offering a series of webinars to help Cincinnatians who are in search of employment. On Monday, August 19, those interested can attend the Professional Portfolios webinar from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Registration information can be found on the JVS Careers website. This seminar will cover how to start a professional portfolio that can aid you in your job interviewing process. 

Not sure what to wear at work or to a job interview? The ongoing COVID19 pandemic has changed a lot about our workplaces, including how we dress. JVS Careers is offering a webinar that helps attendees who want to navigate the new world of pandemic dress codes. The online seminar will take place Monday, September 16 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. 

Struggling to connect to potential employers or employees online? 

JVS Careers is offering a webinar on LinkedIn Basics on Monday, September 30 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. LinkedIn is a networking platform that allows users to feature professional information on their profiles. JVS has invited LinkedIn experts to cover topics like personalized invitations, networking, and easy ways to find the HR contact in a company. 

Questions about your job search? Your resumé? The job market? Looking to change careers and not sure where to start? All of your job questions can be answered at JVS’ “Ask A Career Coach” webinar. This online event will be a live Q&A session with career coaches from JVS. All professional experience levels are invited to come and learn about resources for navigating the job market. The Q&A webinar takes place Monday, October 28, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
