Keep you summer interesting and invigorating at the Mayerson JCC! Summers at the J are a great opportunity for children and young adults to experience all that the J has to offer.
On Sunday, June 23 the J will host Kid’s Night Out: Makers Workshop. Part of the robust family of childrens’ programming at the J, the Makers Workshop allows young ones to build or invent new things, as well as tear things apart! Attendees are encouraged to explore both construction and deconstruction through the use of basic hand tools. Kids will have the opportunity to build (and destroy) whatever they can imagine. The workshop runs from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. and has a registration fee that can be paid online on the Mayerson JCC website. Snacks are provided for all participants.
Later in the month, families can enjoy a movie night at the J on June 30 from 8:30 – 10:30 p.m. Families and friends can gather together and watch a movie on the big screen outside. Be sure to bring chairs and blankets so you can relax and enjoy movie night with the JCC community!
Snacks are provided. Get tickets and register for Family Movie night on the Mayerson JCC website!
The J also offers activities for young adults as well. Those in their 20s and 30s looking for a a way to cool off and party down this summer are invited to the Young Adult Summer Bash. On Sunday, July 14, from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m, young adults can join in for a summer splash. Attendees are invited to the JCC pool for games and a kosher cookout. The event is free and those wishing to attend can register on the Mayerson JCC website.
