As this paper is going to press, Tuesday, November 14, over 100,000 people are headed to Washington D.C. to show support for Israel and to condemn the recent uptick in American antisemitism.
The rally begins at 1:00 p.m. on the National Mall, and will include addresses by members of congress including Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, Democratic House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. Israel’s president Isaac Herzog will speak as well.
Celebrities Omer Adam, an Israeli pop star, and Deborah Messing, and American Jewish actress, are also slated to appear at the rally.
