Dr. Fred Peck, DDS, FAACD, is a third-generation dentist who has been practicing in Cincinnati for over thirty years. He was the first accredited fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) in Ohio, and currently is one of only ninety worldwide. AACD Accreditation, then Fellowship, involves rigorous training in cosmetic dentistry, followed by a process of passing a board examination and submitting actual case work to be graded. A graduate of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, Dr. Peck went on to complete the curriculum at The Kois Center in Seattle, regarded by many as the leading advanced continuing education center for dentists in the United States. Dr. Peck is highly regarded in the dental community for his cosmetic techniques; he has published numerous articles in a variety of cosmetic dental journals, he presents lectures and hands-on techniques throughout the US and Canada and teaches dental residents at UC Medical Center.
A fellow Kois Center trainee, Dr. Megan Frew, DMD, has recently joined Dr. Peck and his team, after working in northern KY for five years. Like Dr. Peck, Dr. Frew has a huge appetite for learning; she has been following in his footsteps, taking copious amounts of continued education and training in some of the same courses to gain advanced knowledge and skill in cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Frew is one course away from completing the advanced graduate program at The Kois Center, where she has learned about the latest research and techniques in restorative, implant, and esthetic dentistry. Dr. Frew is working toward her own AACD accreditation, and hopes to work toward fellowship after, to demonstrate the exceptional level of cosmetic dentistry that Dr. Peck’s patient family expects and deserves.
Dr. Frew also loves to put her artistic sense to use as a facial injector. She has extensive training in Botox (for cosmetic & therapeutic benefits), dermal fillers, Kybella, and fractional skin resurfacing laser treatments, and loves using a comprehensive and natural approach to helping her patients age like fine wine!
This state-of-the-art practice is on the cutting edge of dentistry, with the latest technological advancements, led by doctors who are constantly learning from the newest dental research. For example, this office is the first in Ohio to be certified in Guided Biofilm Therapy, a novel way to clean the teeth and gums more effectively than traditional scalers, without damaging any existing dental work.
