This past Friday and Saturday, 19 KIO (Kentucky-Indiana-Ohio) City Directors and advisors came together in Cincinnati for a regional retreat and a chance to get to know one another better, share resources and ideas, and learn new strategies for programming, marketing and working effectively and responsibly with teens. Participants said they got a lot out of the weekend and felt it gave them a chance to get on the same page and begin working more as a cohesive team. The group left with tremendous energy and enthusiasm around making KIO a model region by maximizing each city’s individual potential, creating economies of scale and challenging themselves to come up with innovative ways to attract and retain members and make BBYO the first and best choice for engaging Jewish teenager.
